Arya

Arya, an Australian Shepard mix, was the third rescue to join the family.  She came from West Virginia as well, picked up as a stray by yet another rescue organization.  She finally found her furever home, but unfortunately only got to spend 4 months with her new family because she became very ill.  She became very lethargic and started to lose her sight.  She wouldn’t eat and wasn’t the same dog.  At only 1.5 years old, she passed away from a seizure due to a fungal infection that she contracted as a stray in West Virginia.  It was very hard for the Waggy Swag Co. family, but she will always be in their hearts and a part of their story.  It is because of Arya, that the Waggy Swag Co. family began fostering dogs in her honor.
